ACCREDITATION STATEMENT AND CREDIT DESIGNATION

European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS/EACCME)
The 17th International Conference on Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes, Florence, Italy 06/03/2024 – 09/03/2024, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 14.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). The requirements that attendees need to follow to obtain credits are the following:

  1. Credits will be assigned only to those who have participated in the entire training event (90% of the total hours)
  2. Credits will be assigned only to those who have returned the appropriate personal data sheet, filled in in its entirety and signed by the participant
  3. Credits will be assigned only to those who have returned the appropriate perceived quality form completed in its entirety
  4. The certificates will be sent via email to participants who meet the above requirements.

Educational Objectives

After participating in this educational event, learners should be able to:

  • Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.
  • Exchange ideas and knowledge about novel biomarkers for diabetes.
  • Review the latest artificial pancreas (AP) developments.
  • Discuss insulin pump treatment and insulin sensitivity during pregnancy
  • Discuss the impact of hypoglycemia on patient-reported outcomes.
  • Discuss an update on therapies for Type 1 Diabetes.
  • Discuss the continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) as initial diabetes technology.
  • Review new technologies for treating obesity and preventing related diabetes.

Target Audience

ATTD 2024 is the global meeting place for physicians, researchers, and scientists in the fields of endocrinology, pediatrics, and family medicine. Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants can tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience.

To Receive Your CME/CPD Certificate

The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit-claiming procedure. The process takes about 5 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of CME/CPD accreditation and helps improve future educational offerings.

Before June 9, 2024:

1. Login to the ATTD Education Portal OR register first if you don’t have an account.

  • register using the same email address as your ATTD Conference registration.
  • make sure to select “Diabetes” as your main field of interest.

2. Once logged in, go to “Online Learning”, and click on the CME/CPD certificate banner on the landing page.
3. Complete the anonymous online evaluation.
4. Complete the credit claim form and submit it.
5. The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download; retain it for your personal records.

Kindly note that the ATTD 2024 online evaluation will be active on the last day of the meeting. You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.
